Colin Farrell stars as a gritty private investigator in Apple TV+’s new series Sugar.

John Sugar is an American private investigator residing in the star-studded streets of Los Angeles. He is tasked with finding Olivia Siegel (Sydney Chandler), daughter of legendary Hollywood producer Jonathan Siegel (James Cromwell), who mysteriously disappeared. As he attempts to find the missing woman, Sugar discovers various Siegel family secrets both new and old, threatening his ability to find Olivia.

In the trailer, we see a suave John Sugar coasting through the roads of a sunny Los Angeles set to a retro rendition of “California Dreaming.” As he takes on the job of finding the missing nepo baby, things grow more violent and complex. Sugar seems to unravel as he dives into the case and becomes more involved with the elite family. Will he solve the case or will their secrets win?

Sugar also stars Kirby, Amy Ryan, Dennis Boutsikaris, Nate Corddry, Alex Hernandez, and guest stars Anna Gunn. This series comes from the team behind Apple TV+’s Invasion.

Sugar premieres on Apple TV+ on April 5.
