Selena Gomez Shares Intimate Mental Health Journey In Selena Gomez: My Mind and Me Doc Trailer

Selena Gomez is opening up to fans on a new level in her highly anticipated feature film Selena Gomez: My Mind and Me.

After years in the limelight, Gomez has achieved unimaginable stardom. But just as she reaches a new peak, an unexpected turn pulls her into darkness. This uniquely raw and intimate documentary spans her six-year journey into a new light.

The trailer, above, gives a look at the ups and downs the global superstar has dealt with dealing with fame, lupus, depression, and anxiety. “My whole life since I was a kid I’ve been working,” she narrates. “I don’t wanna be like super famous, but I do know that if I’m here that I have to use that for good.”

The documentary is named after her upcoming song “My Mind & Me,” which can be heard in the trailer, and sums up both the challenges Gomez has gone through and the activism she has highlighted in the mental health space. “If somebody sees me like this, then they won’t feel alone,” she sings, ready to share her experiences with the world.

Selena Gomez: My Mind and Me premieres globally on Apple TV+ on November 4.
