Love Is Messy and Beautiful In Worth The Wait Trailer

Is love worth holding out for? Tubi’s original film Worth The Wait will let us in on the complexities of love across four different but interconnecting couples.

The trailer depicts four Asian American couples going through the motions of their relationships over the course of a year. Kai (Ross Butler) and Leah (Lana Condor) have all the love at first sight feelings during a hospital visit, but one thing is standing in the way — long distance. At the same time, Teresa (Karena Lam) and Nathan (Osric Chau) navigate having a stillbirth and the grief they experience that comes with the devastating loss.

We also get teens Riley (Ali Fumiko Whitney) and Blake (Ricky He) who try to get Riley’s overprotective uncle Curtis (Sung Kang) back in the dating scene in hopes it will get him to approve of their relationship — or at least find him too busy to interfere with it. Our last couple follows famous actress Amanda (Elodie Yung) finding out that her new director is her ex-fiancé Scott (Andrew Koji)… awkward! From tears to rekindled connections, the film will explore each couple's struggles and heartfelt moments as they dig deeper into their relationships and come to the conclusion as to if it’s all worth it.

Worth The Wait premieres May 23 on Tubi.
