Casper the Friendly Ghost is heading to the small screen!

A new reimagining of Casper’s story — think more in the vein of Riverdale — is headed to Peacock. From the mind of The Ghost Bride head writer Kai Yu Wu, the darker story is a live-action horror/adventure that explores Casper’s origins and what it means to be alive. Set in high school, we’ll see Casper tangled in a mystery connected to a new family in town and dark secrets that have been buried for over 100 years.

Casper is heading to Peacock soon.
