Yeah, you heard that right! Avatar: The Last Airbender, the long awaited live-action series adaptation from the beloved Nickelodeon animated series, just shared its first look at what to expect.

The teaser shows glimpses of the characters including Aang (Gordon Cormier), Katara (Kiawentiio), and Sokka (Ian Ousley) as they band together to battle against anything in their way. There’s also clips of menacing villains such as Fire Lord Ozai (Daniel Dae Kim) and Zuko (Dallas Liu) as they wreak havoc on the world. Additionally, we also get our first looks at Appa and Momo. Say it with me now, Appa Yip Yip! With beautiful landscapes, volcano eruptions, intense battles, and fiery backgrounds, the series will explore Aang’s trials and tribulations in becoming the next Avatar.

Elizabeth Yu as Princess Azula, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as General Iroh, and Ken Leung as Commander Zhao join the Avatar universe.

Will Aang bring harmony back to the Earth, Fire, Water, and Air nations? Avatar: The Last Airbender premieres February 22, 2024 on Netflix.
