Meet Our Newest VK In The Descendants: The Rise Of Red Teaser!

Meet our newest VK!

We’ve got a new teaser for Descendants: The Rise of Red that introduces us to Red (Kylie Cantrall), as the princess of the hostile kingdom of Wonderland and Auradon’s newest Villain Kid. We see her get caught “red-handed” by Chloe (Malia Baker), the daughter of Cinderella and King Charming. Yup, Brandy and Paolo Montalban are reprising their roles from the 1997 Cinderella movie!

When the Queen of Hearts (Rita Ora) plans to overthrow Auradon, the rebellious Red and perfectionist Chloe join forces and travel back in time. Together, they must work to undo the traumatic event that sent the Queen of Hearts down a tyrannical path.

The film will feature seven original songs, two reprises, and a cover of Cinderella’s “So This Is Love.” China Anne McClain is back as fan favorite character Uma, taking on the role of the new principal at Auradon Prep, while Melanie Paxson reprises her role as the Fairy Godmother.

The next installment in the mega-hit that is the Descendants franchise premieres July 12 exclusively on Disney+. It’ll be followed by a special encore on August 9 at 8pm ET on Disney Channel.
