A.I. Takes Over The World In Atlas Trailer

Set in a futuristic world, Atlas follows Atlas Shepherd (Jennifer Lopez) who has spent her years hunting down destructive A.I. Harlan (Simu Liu). 

The trailer introduces us to Shepherd’s world where everyone is comfortable using A.I. in their daily life. We get to hear how Harlan has been wreaking havoc amongst humanity despite being programmed to help it. When Shepherd and her colleague (Sterling K. Brown) get sucked into an A.I. robot, they prepare to take on a mission through inhospitable conditions to take down Harlan once and for all. 

However, Shepherd has a severe distrust for A.I. As she shuts down the robot, the machine falls into a giant hole in the floor and tells Shepherd that the plan will only work if she trusts the program. With massive explosions and a ruthless fight to save Earth, Atlas is an action-packed sci-fi where humanity and technology must work together. Gregory James Cohan, Abraham Popoola, Lana Parrilla, and Mark Strong make up the ensemble cast. 

Atlas premieres May 24 on Netflix.
