Apple TV+ Reveals First Look at Kristen Wiig’s Comedy Series Palm Royale

We’ve got a first look at Palm Royale, a new beach comedy with a stacked cast, coming to Apple TV+.

Led by Kristen Wiig, the underdog story follows Maxine Simmons as she tries to break into Palm Beach high society. Set during 1969, it begs the question: how much of yourself are you willing to sacrifice to get what someone else has? The show is loosely based on Juliet McDaniel’s novel Mr. and Mrs. American Pie.

Wiig leads the stellar ensemble cast, including Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Amber Chardae Robinson, Mindy Cohn, Julia Duffy, and Kaia Gerber. Bruce Dern and Carol Burnett will guest star.

The first three episodes of Palm Royale drop on March 20, 2024, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through May 8.
