Their antics and jollyness resonate with audiences' Christmas family traditions and make it an essential to watch during the season. Pop Culture Planet contributor Paola Cardenas shares all the Christmas episodes from Full House and Fuller House to get in the festive spirit.

“Our Very First Christmas Show,” Season 2, Episode 9

As the title suggests, this is the very first Christmas episode for the Tanner family as they get ready to board a flight to Colorado. Danny (Bob Saget) has meticulously planned out everything for this trip to go smoothly, but his plans hit a sour note when a blizzard forces an emergency landing at an unfamiliar airport. D.J. (Candace Cameron) is upset that all their gifts have gone missing, while Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) sees a Santa that just turns out to be Joey (Dave Coulier). Everyone starts to complain about spending Christmas at baggage claim, but Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) has a solution to turn everyone’s mood around by reminding them the true meaning of Christmas.

Full House is available on Hulu and Max.

“A Very Tanner Christmas,” Season 6, Episode 12

Christmas in California isn’t exactly the white Christmas Becky (Lori Loughlin) is used to compared to her hometown of Nebraska. Jesse tries to cheer her up by spraying fake snow on the windows, but is determined to think of something bigger and better. Meanwhile, Stephanie and Michelle (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen) continuously talk about how many presents they want and Uncle Jesse wants to fix that attitude by showing them the spirit of giving to homeless families. Trouble brews when D.J. receives the news that her boyfriend Steve (Scott Weinger) got accepted into Daytona Beach University in Florida so she buys him an expensive jacket to bribe him to stay. At a family Christmas party with multiple Santas, they rejoice in proper Christmas cheer and celebrate with a snowball fight outside— Jesse’s attempt to make a white Christmas for Becky.

“Arrest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” Season 8, Episode 11

When Michelle overhears Danny insulting the plastic tie with the cup holder Joey received from Becky, she wants to burn her gift of the same thing. Jesse stops her before she burns herself and suggests they go back to the novelty store to exchange the gift. Mr. Dreghorn, the grouchy owner, refuses to exchange the gift and traps Jesse and Michelle inside the store, assuming they are thieves. Mr. Dreghorn and Jesse bicker back and forth, but Michelle wants to understand why he isn’t happy on Christmas. Mr. Dreghorn hasn’t seen his family in years since they moved to Oregon and left him behind. They invite him over to their house for Christmas dinner and the night is filled with reconciliations and heartwarming moments.

“Nut Crackers,” Season 2, Episode 12

The Tanner-Fuller household is celebrating Christmas for the first time with a surprise family Christmas photo. Ramona (Soni Bringas) is invited to her best friend Lola’s (Ashley Liao) party, but it conflicts with her performance as The Mouse King in The Nutcracker. Jimmy (Adam Hagenbuch) tells Stephanie he loves her which leaves her shocked and confused. Max (Elias Harger) falls in love with C.J’s (Virginia Williams) daughter Rose (Mckenna Grace). The episode follows the chaos that brews in these situations in a light-hearted, comedic, and cheerful way.

Spread some Yuletide cheer with Fuller House on Netflix.

“Oh My Santa,” Season 4, Episode 1

D.J. demands her family decorate the house before she comes back from taking Max and Tommy to the mall to meet Santa. Stephanie is ultra cautious about Kimmy’s (Andrea Barber) activities since she’s pregnant with Steph’s first child. D.J. misses Steve while he’s away as the podiatrist for the Lakers. However, there’s a dark cloud in the household known as Tommy and Max. Tommy develops a fear of Santa and Max feels gloomy after seeing kids with their dads on Christmas. Reminiscent of his late father, D.J. helps Max not feel so blue by watching old home movies of D.J and her late mother.
