Paramount+ has renewed the freshly released animated preschool series Dora for a second season.

After an original run of 19 years on Nickelodeon, the iconic Latina character returned to our screens in a CG animated show. It features the adventures of bilingual explorer Dora, voiced by Diana Zermeño, and her best friend Boots, played by Asher Colton Spence. Together, they navigate the fantastical rainforest, facing various challenges with the help of the trustworthy Map, voiced by Anairis Quiñones. They must outwit Swiper, the cunning fox voiced by Marc Weiner, and are occasionally aided by Dora's mother, voiced by Kathleen Herles. Yup, that’s right, the original Dora from Dora the Explorer!

In this age of nostalgia, what could be more perfect than bringing back a character that has been essential in the lives of many? “It’s an incredible opportunity to introduce this beloved character and iconic franchise to a whole new generation,” said Jeff Grossman, Executive Vice President of Programming at Paramount+.

It seems Dora will continue to capture hearts and explore new worlds and characters. The first season of Dora is streaming now exclusively on Paramount+.
