From Wicked to Deadpool 3, Here’s All The Movie Trailers That Debuted During Super Bowl LVIII

Last night's Super Bowl was a big win for the Kansas City Chiefs, and while we love that Taylor Swift now officially has her very own ring, we also have some exciting news for the film world. Let's talk all things trailers, from the first look at Wicked to Deadpool & Wolverine.

Deadpool & Wolverine

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds return in the new Deadpool & Wolverine trailer. This fourth wall-breaking trailer promises that Deadpool will be shaking up the MCU in ways we have yet to see. I mean, he literally called himself "Marvel Jesus” and he just might be giving Marvel fans a new thrill. We don't quite get to see Hugh Jackman in his all too famous role besides a few shadows and his back, but we can expect to see an epic battle with the two frenemies.

The trailer lets us know we will be seeing the return of the Time Variance Authority as they kidnap Deadpool from his birthday party. In classic fashion, he's not letting up on breaking Marvel squeaky-clean image.

Deadpool & Wolverine is in theaters on July 26.

Wicked

One of the biggest Broadway shows in history is coming to a screen near you. We got our very first look at the new Wicked trailer and we are all screaming at seeing Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Galinda, or as she goes by now Glinda.

These two never expected to be friends, but little do they know they are up for a wicked ride. Following them through the fantastical land of Oz, we watch the two besties struggle as their desires do not collide. Elphaba is determined to be true to herself and those around her, while Glinda covets popularity and is seduced by power. Ultimately, we will watch as they align with their true selves, Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West. And don’t be fooled — this is a musical, if you couldn’t tell by the casting options.

Wicked — Part 1 comes to theaters November 27.

A Quiet Place: Day One

After the recent release of A Quiet Place: Day One trailer, the 30-second version is extra silent. Starring Lupita Nyong'o and Joseph Quinn, the new installment in the franchise will answer the burning question of what it was like when the creators first crashed into our world.

Find out how the people in the city that never sleeps survive this attack when A Quiet Place: Day One hits theaters on June 28.

The Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes

The Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes trailer is giving us a closer look into the kingdom. The movie is set several years after Caesar’a reign, where apes are now the dominant species while humans are forced to live in the shadows. The new ape leader Proximus Caesar enslaves apes and hides the truth about their history in his quest to conquer the world. But a young chimpanzee named Noah discovers his lies and begins his journey to save the future for apes and humans.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is in theaters May 24.

Knuckles

Idris Elba and Adam Pally are reprising their roles as Knuckles and Wade Whipple in the new spinoff series Knuckles.

This series falls in the timeline between Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and the upcoming third movie. Knuckles has a new life in Green Hills, Montana, but is he ready to settle down? He’s an eager fighter and on guard for his next battle. In the first season, we will follow Knuckles as he trains Deputy Wade Whipple into an Echidna warrior. It’s looks funny, action-packed, and filled with opportunity.

You can stream Knuckles starting April 26 on Paramount+.

Despicable Me 4

The Despicable Me 4 trailer makes fun of AI as they turn some heads with the weirdest edits. "Artificial intelligence is changing the world, showing us what we never thought possible, transforming the way we do business, and bringing family and friends closer together," narrates a voice, showing strange pictures, including Steve Carell and Will Ferrell in a Renaissance-themed photo with dramatic muscular legs. But it's all okay because we get a laugh knowing the Minions were behind it all.

Despicable Me 4 will follow Gru, his wife Lacy, and their new baby. Their happiness is quickly interrupted by Maxime Le Mal and his girlfriend Valentina and their family is forced to go on the run. Despicable Me 4 will be released on July 3, 2024

Kung Fu Panda 4

Kung Fu Panda 4 is almost here, starring Jack Black, Viola Davis, Awkwafina, Bryan Cranston, and Ke Huy Quan. And can I be the first to say the casting of Awkwafina is impeccable?

Our Dragon Warrior is next in line to become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace, which means he needs to find his successor. However, a new powerful villain, a shape-shifting sorceress named The Chameleon, is forcing Po to create an army to fight her. Will they will be enough to beat her?

Kung Fu Panda 4 premieres in theaters on March 8.

Inside Out 2

Joy and the team are back in the new Inside Out 2 trailer. But it seems as though we have some new friends arriving now that Riley is a teenager. Welcome, Anxiety! But we remember what opened last time Joy lost control, right?

Starring Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Lewis Black, Tony Hale, Liza Lapira, and Maya Hawke, Inside Out 2 is bringing us all the emotions when it premiere premieres June 14, 2024

The Fall Guy

Ryan Gosling is back to our screens in The Fall Guy. And we can all relate to him crying in the car listening to Taylor Swift’s “All Too Well.”

He's a stuntman fresh from an accident that could have ended his career and now he has the biggest gig of his life. While on his mission to track down a missing movie star, he has to solve a conspiracy and try to get back the love of his life. It's got action, romance, drama, twisted metal, and even Ryan Reynolds and Emily Blunt.

The Fall Guy is in theaters on May 3.

Twisters

Coming back to our screens after the hit rom-com Anyone But You is Glen Powell in the trailer for his new movie Twisters.

After a previous encounter with a storm, Kate Cooper (Daisy Edgar-Jones) now studies tornadoes from the safety of New York City, but is lured back to open plains by her friend Javi (Anthony Ramos). They are testing a new tracking system, and there she meets social media star Tyler Owens (Powell), documenting his storm-chasing adventures and he’s like to make sure he’s as reckless, and dangerous as possible. They team up in a fight for their lives, and as the title suggests, they will face more than one storm.

Twisters comes to theaters July 19.

IF

Writer and director John Krasinski is bringing your IF to life — yup, your imaginary friend!

Fleming is a young girl who discovers she can see everyone's imaginary friend and begins an adventure to reconnect every forgotten imaginary friend with their kid. If Fleming isn't the coolest girl in school, who is?

Monkey Man

Dev Patel leads us into the ring with his directorial debut and starring role in Monkey Man.

An anonymous kid fights every night, gaining money in an underground fight club by getting beaten by famous fighters. After years of suppressing his true anger, he decides to infiltrate the enclave of the city’s sinister elite. He’s looking to get retribution after having his life destroyed by these and won’t let up until he settles the score.
