Get Ready For The “Next Stage” In The Big Door Prize Season 2 Trailer

tv

Apple TV+'s acclaimed comedy The Big Door Prize, created by Emmy Award-winning David West Read, is returning for its second season this month. The new season will consist of 10 episodes, with the first three episodes releasing on April 24.

In the first season, the residents of Deerfield changed their entire lives because of the Morpho Machine. They all learned of their potential and now they are moving on to the "next stage." Everyone’s future is uncertain, but their potentials will be exchanged for visions, new bonds, and new questions.

The characters are reforming and trying to piece their lives together for what they could be and what they should be. The Morpho Machine is what guides them. It’s "validating, mysterious, magic, destiny, your future." We see that Dusty (Chris O'Dowd) and Cass (Gabrielle Dennis) decide to take time apart, while Giorgio (Josh Segarra) and Izzy (Crystal Fox) each find new and exciting love. Trina (Djouliet Amara) and Jacob (Sammy Fourlas) are off to discover something more meaningful, finding their next adventure. Hana (Ally Maki) and Father Reuben (Damon Gupton) are our leaders looking for more answers about the machine. No one has it figured out yet. If one thing is clear from this story it’s that knowing your potential doesn’t mean you know where to start.

The show will also feature new guest stars, including Justine Lupe, Aaron Roman Weiner, Mary Holland, Patrick Kerr, Cocoa Brown, Carrie Barrett, Elizabeth Hunter, Jim Meskimen, Matt Dellapina, and Melissa Ponzio.

Will the residents of Deerfield find the answers they’re looking for? Find out on Apple TV+ starting on April 24.
