Glen Powell is giving it his all with Richard Linklater’s new film Hit Man. 

In the trailer, Powell plays Gary Johnson. He’s just your ordinary college professor who also works for the local police department. After some time, he starts to go undercover as a hitman with multiple disguised outfits from a mechanic to a John Wick style and even a slick back hair and a suit reminiscent of Patrick Bateman in American Psycho. 

However, when Madison (Adria Arjona) enlists his services on her abusive husband, Johnson falls in love with her. They spend a lot of time together with steamy dancing and sensual role play. The police department gets notice that her husband was murdered after Johnson let her go. Now, Johnson must figure out what went down and things get complicated. Austin Amelio, Retta, Sanjay Rao, Molly Bernard, and Evan Hotlzman round out the cast.
