Imaginary Friends Aren’t So Imaginary Anymore In The IF Teaser Trailer

What if everything you believed as a kid was real…

The first teaser trailer for John Krasinski’s new film IF is here! Starring Ryan Reynolds and Cailey Fleming, the family comedy follows teenage girl named Bea who, after going through a difficult time, begins to see everyone’s imaginary friends, or IFs as they like to be called. These imaginary friends have been left behind after their real-life friends grew up. Reynolds’ character, known as the Man Upstairs, is the only other person who can see all the IFs. Together, they team up to trying to pair the IFs with new kids before time runs out and they’re forgotten forever.

The film stars Fiona Shaw, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr., Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Maya Rudolph, Jon Stewart, Bobby Moynihan, Sam Rockwell, Sebastian Maniscalco, Christopher Meloni, Richard Jenkins, Awkwafina, and Steve Carell, whom is reuniting with Krasinski for the first time since their work together on The Office.

IF is set for release on May 17, 2024.
