Jennifer Lopez Marries A Random Fan In Marry Me Trailer

The trailer for Marry Me, starring Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, and Maluma, has arrived! The film follows international superstar Kat Valdez (Lopez) who has an elaborate publicity plan tied to her hit single “Marry Me.” She will marry her singer fiancé Bastian (Maluma) on stage during their concert… but when paparazzi catch him cheating on her with her assistant, everything goes out the window. On a whim, Kat chooses a random math teacher (Wilson) in the audience — who was dragged to the concert — to marry in front of everyone. What blossoms is an unlikely romance that is tested by differing lifestyles.

While the story is larger than life, it also looks really fun, and features Lopez in stunning looks including an elaborate bejeweled wedding dress. This is JLo’s first rom-com in nearly a decade and her first time singing in a film since Selena. Lopez even recorded an original album for the movie with songs by her and Maluma. "There's all new songs and all new music with it. So it's exciting," Lopez told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. "I think I have like six or eight songs and Maluma does two or three." In the trailer, we hear hints of the songs “Marry Me” and “On My Way.”

The cast also includes Sarah Silverman, Michelle Buteau, and John Bradley — plus Maluma makes his feature film debut in Marry Me!

Marry Me hits theatres February 11, 2022.
