The Cast Of Disney+’s Holes TV Series Has Been Announced!
The cast of Disney+’s new Holes TV series has been announced! This re-imagining of Louis Sachar’s 1998 book follows teen girls forced to dig holes at a detention camp for a mysterious reason.
Instead of the unlucky Stanley Yelnats, this new series is led by The Baby-Sitters Club’s Shay Rudolph as the wrongfully accused Hayley. She finds herself at Camp Yucca run by the manipulative Warden, played by Greg Kinnear. The show will reunite the duo who recently starred opposite each other as father and daughter in the time travel comedy The Present. While camp counselor Sissy, played by Aidy Bryant, seems like a trustworthy big sister to the girls, she is dedicated to the Warden’s mission.
There’s also Flor Delis Alicea as tough leader Queenie, Anire Kim Amoda as the bold Thumbelina, Iesha Daniels as the brainy Mars, Sophie Dieterlen as girly-girl Sticky, Alexandra Doke as zany artist Eyeball, Maeve Press as outcast Shrimp, and Noah Cottrell as the kitchen worker Kitch with his own secret.
The book was previously adapted into a hit film in 2003 starring Shia LaBeouf, Sigourney Weaver, Khleo Thomas, Jon Voight, Patricia Arquette, and Eartha Kitt.
