Netflix’s Purple Hearts Trailer Finds Sofia Carson and Nicholas Galitzine In A Complicated Fake Romance

They came together a world apart, but their love story was just for show.

The trailer has arrived for Netflix’s new romance Purple Hearts starring Sofia Carson (Descendants, Feel The Beat) and Nicholas Galitzine (Cinderella, Red White and Royal Blue). Tragedy strikes after struggling singer-songwriter Cassie and trouble marine Luke agree to marry solely for military benefits, causing the line between real and pretend to blur. The trailer is soundtracked by the original song “Come Back Home” performed and co-written by Carson.

Chosen Jacobs, Kat Cunning, Linden Ashby, Anthony Ippolito, John Harlan Kim, Sarah Rich, and Scott Deckert round out the cast.

The upcoming Purple Hearts soundtrack will be available July 29, the same day the film hits Netflix. See more photos from the movie, below:
