Zombies 4 Starts Production, Plus New Cast Members Announced!

Zombies, aliens, and new supernatural monsters, oh my!

Production is officially underway in New Zealand for Zombies 4. In this fourth installment of the hit Disney franchise, Zed and Addison are fresh off their first year of college as they embark on a summer roadtrip. Amid their adventures, they come across the warring worlds of Sunnyside and Shadyside. There they meet Nova, Victor, Vera, Ray and Vargas. Now zombies, werewolves, and aliens alike are shocked to meet two new supernatural groups.

It was previously announced that Milo Manheim, Meg Donnelly, Chandler Kinney, and Kylee Russell would be returning to reprise their roles, while Freya Skye and Malachi Barton were joining as new characters Nova and Victor.

Now we’ve learned that the film is adding even more new mysterious supernatural monsters to the family, including Swayam Bhatia as Vera, Julian Lerner as Ray, and Mekonnen Knife as Vargas. Lisa Chappell and Jonno Roberts also join the cast in new adult roles as Eldress and Commander Bright.

The first letters of names typically tease supernatural origins in the franchise as Zed is a zombie, Willa is a werewolf, and Zombies 3 revealed Addison is an alien. With N, V, and R, could this tease new creatures like nymphs, vampires, or some type of reptilian creature?

Explore the new creatures of Zombies 4 when it debuts in 2025. See our coverage from Zombies 3, below.
