What time is it? SUMMERTIME!

The Wildcats are headed to Camp Shallow Lake in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season 3 and it’s about to be the best summer ever. The new trailer promises a bigger focus on Gina (Sofia Wylie) and E.J. (Matt Cornett), a competitive production of Frozen, and even more guest stars.

We already knew Disney alumni Corbin Bleu (High School Musical), Meg Donnelly (Zombies), and Jason Earles (Hannah Montana) were making appearances this season, but the trailer reveals some new guest stars including Tony winner Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family) as Nini’s family friend Marvin and JoJo Siwa as Camp Shallow Lake alumni Madison.

On top of all that, we get our first look at the cast’s version of “What Time Is It?” from High School Musical 2 as it soundtracks the trailer. With a new environment and music from High School Musical, Camp Rock, and Frozen in the mix, Ashlyn said it best: “The stakes have never been higher!”

Wylie, Cornett, Julia Lester, Dara Reneé, Frankie Rodriguez, Joshua Bassett, Saylor Bell Curda, and Adrian Lyles are series regulars this season, with Aria Brooks, Liamani Segura, and Ben Stillwell as recurring guest stars. Kate Reinders, Olivia Rose Keegan, Olivia Rodrigo, Larry Saperstein, and Joe Serafini will also be guest stars this season.

High School Musical: The Musical: The Series premiere Wednesday, July 27 on Disney+. See my theories on who could be cast in Frozen, below:
