That’s right, Hallmark has announced that its critically acclaimed show The Way Home has been picked up for a third season. The multigenerational family drama with a time travel twist has captured the hearts of Hallmark fans and newcomers to the channel alike. It’s completely different than anything Hallmark has done before and it shines in its high stakes, impressive storytelling and lore, and strong emotional performances. The cast — including Chyler Leigh, Sadie Laflamme-Snow, Evan Williams, and Andie MacDowell celebrated in a video featured on Hallmark Channel’s Instagram page.

“Once again, our cast, writers and entire crew have used their impressive talents to create a story that is just as compelling and addictive as the first season,” said Lisa Hamilton Daly, Executive Vice President Programming, Hallmark Media. “We’re grateful to the fans who are so passionate about the series and can’t wait for them to see what – and when – is ahead for season 3.”

“While some questions will be answered by the end of this season, the Landrys’ journey is far from over and there’s much more to tell,” said Kelly Garrett, Vice President, Development, Hallmark Media.

Season two is currently airing on Hallmark. It finds Kat traveling back to 1814 to look for her missing brother Jacob, meanwhile Alice faces more shocking family secrets in the early 2000s.

The Way Home is set to return for season 3 in 2025.
