Bite Size Halloween Shorts Expanding To Feature-Length Horror Slate At Hulu

We’re going from bite size to full size candy bars!

Hulu’s partnership with 20th Digital Studio is expanding over the next few years to include nine horror feature films. They will expand directly on the shorts from the Bite Size Halloween collection, which features stand-alone horror shorts ranging from the terrifying to the ridiculous. The films will deal with social topics like mental health, reproductive rights, and online hysteria.

The horror short Appendage starring Shiva Baby’s Rachel Sennott is making its debut at Sundance Film Festival and will be one of the nine films expanded into a Hulu Original feature film. It kicked off season two of Bite Size Halloween on Hulu and follows a young fashion designer whose anxiety physically manifests into something horrific. The other confirmed titles include Grimcutty, a teen tech thriller, Wormeater, a family trauma body horror, The Hug, an expansion of the 2018 Pandory the Panda short about an animatronic panda who terrorizes kids at his Pizza Palace, and Clock, inspired by the 2020 short about a woman’s desperate attempt to fix her biological clock.

Catch up on the Bite Size Halloween collection streaming now on Hulu.
