New Wallace and Gromit Film, Chicken Run Sequel In The Works At Netflix

Netflix has teamed up with Aardman Animations for two new films — Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget and a new Wallace & Gromit movie.

In the currently untitled Wallace & Gromit film, Gromit becomes concerned that Wallace is over-dependent on his inventions. When Wallace invents a “smart gnome” that spirals out of control, Gromit must put aside his feelings to help battle sinister forces if Wallace ever wants to invent again.

In the highly anticipated Chicken Run sequel, Ginger is living her dream life in a peaceful island sanctuary with a baby chick on the way far from the dangers of humankind. But back on the mainland, chickens are facing new threats and it’s up to Ginger and her team to break in to help! Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget features the voices of Thandiwe Newton, Zachary Levi, and Bella Ramsey.

Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget will hit Netflix in 2023, while the next Wallace & Gromit movie arrives in 2024.
