From the creators of Minions, Despicable Me, Sing. and The Secret Life of Pets, Illumination invites you to join the Mallard family into the thrill of the unknown with a funny, feathered family vacation like no other in the action-packed new original comedy, Migration.
The trailer, featuring “Out of the Woods (Taylor’s Version)” by Taylor Swift, shows the family flying through the mountains and clouds together as mother duck Pam (Elizabeth Banks) tells her husband Mack (Kumail Nanjiani) that traveling southward for winter is more than migration… “it’s about adventure.” After meeting another duck family by their pond who tell them tales about the far-flung places they’ve traveled, the Mallard family embarks on their trip via New York City to Jamaica. Their teen son Dax (Caspar Jennings) and duckling daughter Gwen (Tresi Gazal) showcase their classic sibling dynamic as they take on new places to explore.
The Mallard family experience traveling through the bright city lights of New York City, waterparks, and fine dining cuisine. Their adventures will inspire them to expand their horizons, open themselves up to new friends, and accomplish more than they ever thought possible, while teaching them more about each other and themselves.
