Peacock announced a straight to series order of new comedy series Laid. Academy Award nominee Stephanie Hsu is set to star in and executive produce the series.

Laid follows a woman who has seemingly bad luck with romantic partners. After finding out multiple of her former lovers are dying in peculiar ways, she must go through her romantic history and confront her past. In this rom-com style series, the main character is, in fact, the problem. Cue Taylor Swift’s “Anti-Hero.”

The show is based on the Australian series Laid created by Marieke Hardy and Kirsty Fisher and joins a long list of anticipated projects on Peacock including Ted, In The Know, Apples Never Fall, The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Hysteria!, The Day of the Jackal, and Those About to Die.
