A Group Of Children Mysteriously Go Missing In Weapons Trailer

A normal school day turns into a nightmare in Zach Cregger’s new horror film Weapons

The trailer starts with a child’s narration about Mrs. Gandy’s (Julia Garner) class being the only one empty on a normal Wednesday morning. They reveal that at 2:17am every child woke up, got out of bed, walked out of the house, and vanished into the night.

We see a PTA meeting occur with concerned and angry parents trying to get answers and harassing Mrs. Gandy. She can’t help but try to figure out what happened. We get a flashing series of clips ranging from a black liquid choking someone, a self-inflicted stabbing with a fork, and a car accident. What is going on?!

Josh Brolin, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, Benedict Wong, and Amy Madigan round out the cast.

Weapons premieres August 8 in theaters.
